A bid that only moves up.
Thirty percent of collected fees is placed as one single-tick, quote-only Uniswap v4 position under the spot. On Elysium the quote is USDC. On a Robinhood ETH pair it is ETH. On an upTICKER or stock pair it is the stock, and that 30% never leaves the stock pool.
The tick is the highest price at which that quote can buy every token sitting in wallets. Tokens still inside the launch position are not in that count. With the curve’s liquidity L, the current price s, the quote W in the wall, and C tokens in circulation, the wall price x solves:
W = ( C − L × (1/x − 1/s) ) × x²
That price is rounded down to the tick spacing of 10. The wall stays one tick under the spot, and it is never placed below the opening tick. If a wall is already standing, the new one is not placed lower than it.
What a round does
On every trade through UpdraftRouter, on-chain autopilot automatically sweeps collected fees and rebalances the wall. Anyone may also rebalance the wall directly. A round withdraws the standing wall, burns the tokens that wall bought, and places all of the quote again at the new tick. One wall per pool.
- Sales burn tokens, so there are fewer to absorb, and the Updraft Wall can move up.
- Buys add quote, so there is more to bid with, and the Updraft Wall can move up.
- A drop in the spot price does not move the Updraft Wall down.
- The Updraft Wall is never placed below the opening price.
- Tokens the wall buys are burned to 0x…dEaD. They do not go to a wallet.
